Yeah i think that you entered in SP...When i got into sleep paralysis i feel like i'm in a rollercoaster...Or falling from clouds...It feels good...But a bit scary...But it's easy to let this happen... |

First off I would like to say that I have not had any LD's yet and am not experienced with the WILD method or the feeling Sleep Paralysis....I have just not had this feeling before. |

You were definitely close to WILDing but you just have to stick with it. I would'nt say that this was SP though unless you felt paralyzed just because i think the falling sensations and the imagery are separate from SP. They can accompany SP but they arent one in the same. SP is just the body being completely numb and unable to move. The feelings you felt were important but not the same thing as sleep paralysis. I feel the same things every time i WILD and i almost always skip SP, so just try to focusing on the rollercoaster/falling feeling for as long as possible, and the more intense it gets, the closer you are to entering a lucid dream. You might fade out of it but just try to stay relaxed and get back in. |

so are you saying that I'm supposed to maintain this feeling?.....How will I know when I've entered a dream? |
|
Honestly i think its probably different for everyone. For me i maintain this feeling for as long as i can and eventually (pretty quickly most of the time) the feeling gets super intense and i float up out of my bed and im in my room but im in a dream (its hard for me to explain because theres not much of a transition that says "Im awake in my bed" and then "Now im in a dream" it kinda happens fluidly and you just have to experience it yourself.) Other times i will just pop into random dream from there and become lucid, or sometimes i will just fall asleep on accident and have a DILD. |

It sounds like you were close to succeeding with your WILD. When you start to get hypnagogic hallucinations like this, you know you are close. Don't worry if the hallucinations suddenly stop, or if you get startled awake. It is normal to bounce in and out of this state a few times. Just keep doing what you were doing, and you should quickly dip back into the sleepyrealm. |

This just happened to me an hour ago, I woke up after my it felt like my body was gone like it lowered itself past the bed. |

Last LD July 31st
What I do is count my breaths, and after every 10, I say in my head "I am going to have a lucid dream." |
