Thread: Short/Long-Sightedness In Dreams

I was just thinking this over, I don't really have clear enough dream recall to quite remember, but I'm pretty sure that when I'm in dreams I am no longer short-sighted and can actually see everything, I would have though tthat it would make sense.
If so I would have thought that it would make a very good reality check, I was wondering if anyone else with short or long sightedness had ever tried this.
It could be a useful help for me to have my first lucid dream

Yea, I've noticed a few things... I am shortsighted. (But I normally wear contacts.)

In most dreams, I can see around the normal range of sight. In a recent dream, I had very limited eyesight.

As for it being used as an RC (More accurately a dreamsign)... I don't think we would notice. I don't really notice that I am nearsighted since I wear glasses or contacts.

Yeah I don't think I'd realise as I wear contacts all day too, I mean during the holiday I think it could work, but it was interesting to see how it worked for others.

If you could get yourself to dream about cruddy vision, I'd say this may be possible. That will be the trick though. I've only had 5 dreams about vision in my life. You'd probably have to use some 'brain flooder' technique to really get yourself to dream about things looking blurry.
