Dream Marathon!

Woohoo! This week's UEA (Utah Education something-or-other) so I get the week off of school! Anyway, I decided that (after a LD I had this morning) I'm declaring it the first week-long LD MARATHON! Woohoo! 'Course, it's struck me a little odd that the little week-long party I'm throwing involves mostly sleeping. Still, it's gunna be fun! Anyway, I started it off with an LD this morning where I basically just summoned some popcorn. And went surfing. That's about it. I just had a sudden desire for popcorn or something... Anyway, everybody ought to join me in my little dream marathon! Since I have the week off, I'm going to use tons of melatonin to sleep about 75% of the day, but for those stuck working or in school, just participate when ya' can. Post any interesting dreams and an LD count, too!

Yay! Happy no-school week! :bravo: It's half-term for lots of people here in Britain, some people had it last week...but meh. Anyway, we all get the week off school too! I was hoping to try out improving my dream recall a lot. Maybe some MILD and WBTB too. I'm hoping for an LD this week, if not, then certainly a lot of fun, vivid dreams.

Wow man, unlimited power over anything and everything and you chose to summon up some pop-corn. you can fly, visit ancient rome, anything, but no... you would rather summon pop-corn. haha. your choice though.

Yeah, I kinda wondered about that after I woke up. I'm like: "POPCORN? You coulda summoned any girl in the world, but you summoned POPCORN?!?" Then I went into the kitchen and made popcorn. Still, the rest of the dream was interesting (before I went lucid). I got in a fight with a bunch of people, and I was using 4 or 5 weapons at once...like an insane juggling act. Let's see...there was a 4x4, a couple of boat paddles, a full-sized Ford T-Bird, and occasionally something else would pop up. It was freaky...And then I jumped over my 6' 6" fence without trying hard, and I realized that I must be dreaming. Unfortunately, the dream-scene started to fade. I tried spinning, but it didn't work...so I just waited. Eventually a sewing machine started to fade into existence, and at some point it turned into a microwave. Anyway, I was kinda hungry so I started opening cupboards that appeared above the microwave looking for food, then I gave up since the cupboards were empty, so I summoned some popcorn by reaching into one while looking the other way, and grabbed some. It worked, but when I went to put it into the microwave, there was already some in there popping...oh well. I got popcorn. Then I started wandering around the building, and I jumped to go out a window...Anyway. The dream kinda cut off there 'cuz my alarm clock went off. Stupid alarm clock. It paid for it's treachory. Well, I'm giong to go hit the sack. Again. Happy dreaming!

Hey...yeah...woohoo I'm all about the marathon lucids. This quarter I don't have classes till 1pm so I've been lding almost every morning till about 9-10am. It's great! Funny thing though, sometimes you just go with what comes...like the microwave. Sometimes you can't control everything. It's funny about the popcorn though, that sounds like something I would do, last week I ate an entire birthday cake in one of my lucids.

What's thios i hear, popcorn and birthday cakes, lol Use your talents!!!, i know if i could lucid at will, many famous models/p**nstars would be summoned into my giant palace somewhere tropical. Good luck on your marathon

Well, it's not always so easy. The lucids where I have total control I typically find myself going to a beautiful topical paradise with hot well hung naked men or flying or experimenting...but sometimes its not all that easy. Sometimes you only have little control, it's like what he was talking about earlier, he found himself in front of a microwave, first instinct...microwave something...I've done stuff like that all the time. I've been completely lucid but had to just go with it b/c the level of control wasn't high enough. I've tried to summon people, and sometimes the wrong people come...one time I tried to transport myself to a beautiful island and I found myself lying in a pile of sand in the middle of an empty football stadium...weird shit like that. "You can't always get what you want..."

Yay! This marathon is great. I had an LD this morning. Happy, Happy, Happy...I got my first real bit of flying, and used some kind of power to push some people away from me.

Your total control LD's sound interesting lucidnina not that i like guys but you know what i mean *puts transporting to a beautiful island on not to do list* that way i won't be going somewhere just full of sand, heh trusting my luck id try and warp to a penthouse with lots of women and id end up in a boring newsagency or something Congrats DayTripper, long time between LD's ey *envies everyone with a week off*

Hey! Good to hear about these successes! Well, I didn't have an LD last night, but I'm going back to take a nap in an hour or so.

Xisdence, it was 1.5 years because i tried out lucid dreaming quite a while ago(in 8th grade, i'm now in 10th) but i quit because of my first freaky lucid dream (i put it under lucid experiences). i'm back in the game now though, been workin at it for 4 days and allready had one.
