Thread: Which action hero are you when lucid?

Storm or The Human Torch or Shadowkat. Pretty much the three of them in one.

Why not just leave the poll out and have people post which one or group represents them the best? You literally don't have a single one that would fit me, except for the superman/neo/goku combo because they can fly. But that's barely scratching the surface.

Great question. It was actually pretty hard for me to choose between Goku and Neo. I'd consider myself a combination of both. However, I think Goku has a little more distinct style, as Neo's techniques of control are a little more vague and just sorta "do what you want"-ish.

I'd say I've done more signature Saiya-Jin moves than signature Neo moves, though, and I more often deflect bullets than try to dodge them or stop them in mid-air (which I'd like to try sometime). I also do things like the Kaiyo-Ken attack and break shit with expulsion of ki energy. Pulled out a few Kamehamehas, too. So, yeah, I think Goku wins out. Neo is a close second.

I'd say I "am" more like the Heart of gold spaceship, from the Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy, due to the improbability drive. The thing is that whatever I do, there is something improbable going to happen. Once I wanted to create a portal and I got a hole in the wall made of ice-cream. At least is keeps things creative and interesting.

I don't really fit in one choise either. Im more like darth vader only a million times stronger. But he can't fly. Goku represents energy balls, which I am not great at. In a lot of my ld's I use martial arts, telekenisis and telepathy on my enemies. But I don't have the fire like Jean grey. So I chose Neo, because I use lots of guns and no lightsabers. I even reload them, dont ask me why..

well i would have went with iron man, but thats not there. but my most used power (including when i am iron man) is flying, so i would have to go with superman, because he flys and is very strong, and shoots lasers, and iron man does all those, althou iron man shoots lasers out his hands and chest wheras superman, out his eyes. so superman resembles iron man most.

Probably Neo, but maybe a combination of several X-Mens' powers (Mostly Jean Grey with Phoenix Force powerup, Shadowcat, and Nightcrwler).

If my generic powers, not using any powers in particular but just controlling a lucid, are actually like anyone, it would probably be like the goblin king from Labrynth. I just think, "hmm, that would be interesting," and make it so, not having to recode anything, and usually without having to focus like telekinesis unless I'm trying to limit what I change.

Darth Vader. I can throw people with my mind like nothing!

My first semi-lucid dream when I was younger involved me realising a monster in a nightmare wasn't real and turning into a power ranger to defeat him I didn't have much control or anything but just enough to change the dream's course of events a tiny bit.

I don't think i've really resembled any hero too closely in my lucids more recently. I'll say Goku is closest because I did fly in one of my dreams in a similar way to DBZ.

I'm more like Peter from Heroes, I can fly, I can shoot electricity, I can read minds, I can make people pass out. No fits for me
