My reality checks NEVER FREAKING WORK! I just woke up from an amazing dream that would have made me the happiest little potato on this planet, and I was doing several reality checks every time I could during the dream and they checked out. OK I know this one is probably useless anyway, but for the hell of it I tried the spinning top thing from inception and it stopped and fell over 100% realistically. I looked at a digital clock, clear as day. Looked at an analog one, clear as day. I even pulled out my phone and read texts that I had left from yesterday that I hadn't deleted. The font and size and color and everything was identical to my real phone. And I did a few other things. (keeping in mind I've tried all the basic ones several times in the past and they don't work either) What the hell? WHAT THE HELL? Is it that THIS is a dream and being awake is supposed to be the non-important part of our life? Because, like I said, in my dreams I'm infinitely happy; my life sucks though... Does anyone know what I can do? It's really disappointing to get up and see that that person you've loved for 5 years still doesn't care about you in reality. I mean, I should be writing a paper right now and instead I can't stop thinking about what just happened and what life would be like if it was real.
