      Dormant natural lucid ability?

This is about my hypothesis about natural lucid ability and dormant natural lucid ability. And please don't ask for proof. I just want replies to compare your experiences with my hypothesis. A natural lucid dreamer has a brain that does not fully loose conciousness when it falls asleep so this causes the dreamer to retain some degree of conciousness when in the dream. This same phenomenon happens with dormant natural lucid ability but it's dormant meaning it's not in full force but it's there. The person would have a few lucid dreams already by himself just that it's not frequent. So when the person comes on here or gets to know more about lucid dreaming and tries to use techniques to have them at will....the dormant natural lucid ability becomes awakened. So within a short time the person is able to have lucid dreams almost everynight or very frequently without much effort. I have read posts by members on here stating that they had a natural ability but lost it later in life so that means that it can become dormant again. What I haven't seen is members posting their experiences of having zero lucid dreams to having them every dream of every night...is there?

Research has shown that a lot of people can remember having had a lucid dream once in their life (including me). And when those people try to lucid dream they have to go through the 'training' too.
      How would you explain that?

Like he said some have the ability triggered meaning that they are going to experience a far greater amount of lucid dreams then someone who may also have this ability, yet it hasn't been triggered yet.

What you are referring to is not necessarily on the same subject. Everyone has the potential to have a lucid dream. A natural will have them at a far greater frequency then someone who is not a natural.

I.E. if you are not a natural you will "naturally" experience a far less amount of lucid dreams during your life then someone who is. Hence why you may have only experienced 1 lucid dream in your life. Non-Naturals as it were will like you said even after going through training will still experience a far amount of LD's then a natural.

      If that makes any sense.
