Well, I read about LDing about a year ago but never really got into it, but I came across it a few days ago and decided to give it a shot. My first time trying it, 2 nights ago, I attempted a WILD right when I first went to sleep (I have had a number of failures with WILDing after sleeping a few hours, but I've tried these past few mornings because I always wake up at 3:00am anyway). Interestingly enough, I was able to get to a hypnagogic state where geometric patterns were expanding and contracting. I noticed I got really excited at that point, so I tried to calm down, but the images faded away leaving me laying there. Any recommendations as to what I could do differently? My anchor for WILDing is controlling my breathing, btw. |
