Practical Applications of Lucid Dreaming

So I'm sure this has probably been discussed before, but it's a fun sort of topic.

What are some practical applications of lucid dreaming that you can think of? And I'm not talking the basics that everyone has heard before... overcoming phobias/fear, getting in touch with your subconscious, working on skills to help develop your muscle memory, etc...

For example, I was trying to decide what color to paint my bedroom. If you have such a problem, you could have a lucid dream, change the color of the walls, and see how you like it! :boogie:
Then I was trying to decide how to have my haircut. Another very practical application! And it's good fun to see yourself in a mirror anyway. :banana:

They may or may not require pretty good dream control, but go for it! So, what else can you guys think of??

I've been trying to think of a topic for my thesis. I'd like to discuss it with a couple of dream characters and get some input, but no luck yet.

I'm lactose intolerant, and I recently discovered that I'm intolerant to wheat flour. In my lucid dreams, I now eat the things I can't eat in real life, like cake, ice cream, milk, etc. :D
