Help getting into full Sleep Paralysis?

From what I understand before going into a WILD most people experience Sleep Paralysis. So, I've been trying to go into sleep paralysis myself. I'm pretty sure I've gotten partway into it, as I've gotten either a heavy feeling or a numb pins and needles feeling in my arms and lower body, but never my chest or head, and I've never really experienced the 'being in your head' feeling the tutorial explained, and I've never really seen any vivid dream landscapes that lead up into a wild.

      Any help out there?

First, erase what you know about sleep paralysis. Pretend it doesn't exist. Done yet?

Okay, now, remember your goal. Is it to have sleep paralysis? No! It's to have lucid dreams! So many people forget that. Also, keep in mind that feeling sleep paralysis is not required to get into a dream. Also, keep in mind that sleep paralysis varies greatly from person to person, and also night to night. Also, keep in mind that sleep paralysis is a transition, and is only supposed to last for a minute or two. Any longer than that, and you know that what you are experiencing is false sleep paralysis, brought on by the WILDer's own expectation.

I may not WILD often, but I know what failure feels like. I call it "induced sleep paralysis." I also know what success feels like. I call it "a spontaneous and quick transition."

The goal is dreams, not SP! Remember that, and good luck!

Thanks Abra, very insightful. The problems you listed are exactly what I've been doing, I'll have to give WILD another try tonight now.

As Abra excellently mentioned. Dont have expectations from SP. I spent a lot of times waiting for vibrations to come. And they never came. Just recently i found out, it is even better to concentrate on something fully different, and probably you wont feel the transition. If you should spend some time concentrating on something, I would recommend concentrating on your memories of tactile feelings. Create a scene in your head {you dont have to see it clearly}, and try to touch everything in this scene. Use your memory to recall the feelings.

And after some minutes, you will feel that the scene stabilizes. ANd at the same time you will find out, that you are starting to become more separated from your physical body, becouse the sensations you pretend to have are starting to become more and more real. ... And as you continue, .... You might get into the lucid dream.

      Enjoy

Excellent idea. I will try this out. Thanks for sharing that.
