Thread: We have failure to communicate

This is a problem I have had for the longest and haven't found a solution. When I consciously try to say something with my mouth my voice cuts out and breaks off till I can say nothing more than above a strained whisper.

Intersting enough this doesn't happen when I talk to dream characters. Maybe that's because then I'm not consciously moving my mouth and talking. It seems more like thinking really. This isn't really a problem unless I need to scream something at a DC or call for help. It's really annoying sometimes, can anyone help?
