Future of Lucid Dreams?

So i'm new to this whole lucid dreaming thing, and new to this forum :) hey everyone :)

But i was thinking, and i thought it would be awesome if you could 'meet up' with and interact with REAL people in 'dreamland'. Like, having your minds linked or something.

I realize this isn't particularly possible just by dreaming, but i was thinking about massively multi player online games, like World of Warcraft, for those of you who know of it (i don't play anymore) and the use of the internet.

Perhaps in the future there will be someway to use the internet and somehow link in your mind, so that when you lucidly dream (which could well be induced properly by technology by then), you can meet others doing the same.

I'm only talking hypothetically here and i wondered if anybody else had thought this might be the future of the internet.

It would be like a huge, boundless, limitless computer game ^^

Search for dream sharing. It's a phenomena, and there's alot of skeptics and debates as to whether it's true or not, but I believe that's what you're talking about.

Yes I have been thinking of the exact same thing. Theres some people out there who believe we can already do this naturally without the help of the internet and computers to digitalize and link our minds. Check out the Beyond Dreaming section.

Anyway.. in the future im pretty sure it's going to be possible with the help of computers and internet.. some kind of dream controlled MMORPG.. would be quite awesome. Some people think this computer game you talk about already exists, and it's what we call reality. Cool avatar btw ^^
