This right here. Race having anything to do with dreams is bloody unlikely, hell I'd say the idea is retarded. On the other hand though, culture can have a great impact on your dream habits and your abilities.

Hypothetically, if you were part of a culture in which dreams are looked at as evil say, you probably wouldn't remember too many dreams, and if you did, you would more than likely suppress the dreams rather than explore them. On the other side, if you look at a culture like the Dunne-za* tribe, who's belief system is founded on dreams and dreaming, you will find people who dream frequently, have fantastic recall, and purposefully do certain activities in dreams (in what I would bet is lucid dreaming).

*I believe that was the name of the tribe, but anyway, if you want a good ethnographic work, of a culture that puts a lot of significance in dreaming, check out Trail to Heaven. It's not written like your average ethnography either, it has narrative, and a certain style that I enjoyed.

Well the article was written by a jew, so its biased. Its in there best interest not to be referred to as a race, and blend in as white people.

Right. You can convert to the Jewish religion. But most people in the Jewish religion share a common ancestry which is a race in and of itself.

Judaism is not a race. It is a religion. Being Jewish is not a race because Jews do not share one common ancestry or biological distinction. People of many different races have become Jewish people over the years.

How about where it says that it is an ethnoreligous group in the first paragraph? Did you read any of it? Belonging to the Jewish religion doesn't mean you're Jewish ethnically. Being Jewish ethnically doesn't mean you belong to the Jewish religion. What is so hard to understand?
