Question Can you skip SP while WILD'ing?

      Hello,
I was just reading thought my dream journal while typing it up and a few weeks ago I remember a dream when I was laying in bed trying to fall asleep for like the 10th time that night. (I really do not sleep well at night.) Then all of a sudden while laying there thinking I just wanted to fall asleep and get a few hours before I had to get up. Out of the blue I say to my self that I have already fallen asleep and that I was already dreaming. I did a RC and sure enough I was dreaming at that point. I know that this was not a FA before this because I got out of bed and got on the computer for a bit before going back to bed and did a few RCs

I was in the same position in the bed and everything (that I was in before I realized I was dreaming) but I did not feel the vibrations of SP. So is it possible that I skipped the vibrations?

Neither SP or the vibrations are necessary for a WILD. When you do experience them, you may regard them as mileposts of a sort, to keep relaxed and focused, but there's certainly nothing wrong with these being absent.

Yes, it's unbelievably easy if you know how, simply imagen walking or crawling or perferably rolling whatever is easier and if your good at willing the feeling then you'll be in the dream body rolling or whatever in no time, I can for instence start imagening myself running in sp and start running down the street in a dream.

When I think about it, there was period when I was younger, where I'd go to sleep, and quickly wake up in the dark in my dream body with no recollection of any of the SP manifestations. This happened repeatedly for a couple weeks, and I can't recall it happening since.

Maybe it was a case of falling asleep during SP, but regaining consciousness soon after?

That could possibly have been the case...

Or you could have simply fallen asleep before SP had started.

I never really hit SP when I WILD - at least I don't notice that I do.

You can't actually skip the SP, but you can just skip noticing it.
