Fully Awake, Non Lucid Day Dream - Possible?

Hey, I had something like this the other day.. I was awake, fully awake, and in my hot tub. I had the jets turned off and was just laying there in the lounger seat, feeling the warmth from the water. I closed my eyes and was laying there for a couple minutes. Then I had a scratch. So I opened my eyes (everything was normal, I was still fully awake), scratched my nose, and closed my eyes again. My mind started to wander, but with images. Happens a lot to me. Usually I can take control of these images and think about things, think about my day, whats going on next weekend, etc. But the images kept going, it was kind of like a dream..

I'm underwater in my hot tub, just below the surface. I can see my reflection above the surface, which is strange. Maybe even stranger, his eyes are closed. I reach out to test the limits of the reflection. Bad idea. My (reflection's) eyes open, revealing pitch black eyes with a tiny white core. He (my reflection?) reaches out, and pulls me above the water- by my throat, with both hands. I find myself below water, when really I should be above the water (Probably sounds confusing) I reach out and grab him by the wrists, as I begin to feel burning in my lungs from lack of oxygen. As I do so, blood fills the water from his wrists and I begin to drown. I open my eyes and consciously say "ahhh."

I didn't "wake up" when I opened my eyes. I was still in my sun room, and as awake as before the dream thing. It didn't feel like waking up, my limbs felt completely normal and I could move without feeling the slightest bit asleep.
Strange thing about the dream thing, I didn't feel in control at all. I didn't understand what was happening and I wasn't controlling what was happening.

Has this ever happened to anyone? Is this normal?
