and nlmgr made an interesting point I suppose. But sex as a needs for reproduction is probably mostly part of the subconscious already, and lucid dreaming obviously involves the conscious.

as demonstrated ,almost nothing can affect the subcocious, but drugs can affect the concious mind.therefor,in times of shock, the subconcious kicks in.and if you had just become lucid, control of the subcocious the virtualy impossible.

I think everything effects the subconscious mind.

oops! sorry! nothing can change the concious mind way of thinking, while torture or "reeducation" will cause people to become subbmissive or foster a hatred that has nothing to do with them(for example:the nazis).

The nature of the subconscious never changes,... but it responds to, is effected and influenced by everything.
