As I understand it sleepwalking occurs before REM sleep, and dreaming in non-REM sleep is rare. Because of this I don't think it is likely for this to happen. |

I was wondering if any of you fellow lucid dreamers have sleepwalked while having a lucid dream? I know I have on one occasion. I was around 9-10, and my parents had a friend over during the evening. During that time, I first walked down the stairs to the living room, and stood at the bottom of the stairs, staring at them. They tried to talk to me, but I didn't respond and went back to my room. I don't think I was having a lucid dream then, but later that night, I had a lucid dream where I was following a rabbit through a forest, if I'm not mistaken. I walked into the hallway from my room, then started to slowly wake up. The dream and real life kind of melted together, making me unable to distinguish between dream and reality. I knew I was dreaming, but yet, I found myself in the hallway at the same time as I was in a forest. I tried getting to the bathroom, but stubbed my toe and started bawling my eyes out, not knowing if the pain was real or a dream. My mom found me and took me back to bed, and that's all I remember. |

Hmm, so it's not supposed to be possible? I wonder how I did what I did, then. |

I've always wonder'd...would you be able to control your physical body in a LD, like intentionally sleep walk. It would make sleeping a lot more efficient! lol |

Just to clear one thing up: you do dream in Non-REM sleep. Sleep walking during a lucid is unlikely though, because it commonly occurs during REM. However, even Laberge showed that it can occur outside of REM, as he examined people that LDed even in stage 1 sleep. It is just less common and you would likely wake yourself up unless you were in stage 4. |

I'm not sure, but fallowing the logic if you sleep walking and become lucid it means that you realize that you are sleep walking, wouldn't that wake you up? |
|
Yes. I once became lucid in the same instant i opened my eyes in the morning. So i got up, ate breakfast, and went lucid sleep walking to work. |

Habilities: fly, pass through things, taste, touch, pain, dare, hear music, breath under water, heal, wake up...
Wish to: Summon people, teleport/switch environment, read a long text, fly higher than about 1 kilometer, fly quicker than about 200 km/h, 360 vision, freeze time, time travel, transform into beasts, go to the moon, go into deep space, fire portals...
I've never sleep walked as far as I know. |
