Thread: Question on Dreaming

Hello,
I was wondering if it was possable to have a Dream Induced WILD. Or would it still be a DILD?

Reason for asking: In one dream I had had this morning I had a FA. But instead of getting up in the dream I told my self to stay in bed because I really wanted to try to have a LD before I had to get up for the day. So while laying in bed (in the dream) I told my self I would have a LD. Well soon I felt my self starting to fall asleep and started to freak out a little bit. But I remember telling my self at this point to just calm down it was only my self feeling my self fall asleep and I wanted that. When I did fall asleep in the dream I became lucid and did have a short LD before I woke up for good.

Awesome! That is a cool way to become lucid. Well, I'd call it a DILD, where you practiced a WILD.

WILD by definition is a lucid dream induced by going consciously from the waking state to the dreaming state. Therefore, if you were already dreaming, you can't WILD.

I don't think it was a WILD. but at least you managed to get an LD out of it. as long as you get an LD, its all good.

Well, in some ways a WILD is more desirable than a DILD because they can be more vivid.
