      autosuggestion repetition effects?

if you use Autosuggestion and you repeat to your self "i will remeber my dream". if you keep doing night after night after night, will it begin to lose its effectivness?

Once you get results from it, and begin writing in your journal, the ties in your brain between "dream recall" and "good" will only get stronger.

Compound this assertion with writing in your dream journal and dream recall will become natural habit. Which is great!

You might want to use different words at times, and wake up early morning (so that you can inflict the suggestion just before your longest REM period).

Also, you must reinforce the recall, once it comes. Write it down and give yourself a pat on the back, or something. XD

There are so many variables. But I found that the first couple times I use a phrase it works well, then afterwards it's kinda hit or miss.

I always have better luck though using phrases to help my recall than phrases to become lucid. I wish it were the other way around.
In dreams of unspeakable joy—of restored friendships; of revived embraces; of love which said it had never died; of faces that had vanished long ago, yet said with smiling lips that they knew nothing of the grave; of pardons implored, and granted with such bursting floods of love, that I was almost glad I had sinned—thus I passed through this wondrous twilight. —George MacDonald

Well I used autosuggestion one night and said that I will wake up after every REM period..and now I do every night without even resciting the phrase
