I have wondered for a long time if its possible to better yourself with like a skill that you practice while you lucid dream, and then use it in real life. I have heard of an experiment where they tested athlets, and I wont go into full detail, but they had four groups, all of them trained and mentally trained on a certain percentage scale. Group 1 trained 100%, they did no mental training. Group 2, trained 75%, mentally trained 25%, group 3, trained 50%, mentally trained 50% and group 4 trained 25% and mentally trained 75%. The training was ofcourse conditioning and practicing the skills needed for the sport they were in. Mental training was where they were put into trances and visualized themselves training, practicing the skills, moves, etc. The team that trained more mentally did better than any of them. |
