I have wondered for a long time if its possible to better yourself with like a skill that you practice while you lucid dream, and then use it in real life. I have heard of an experiment where they tested athlets, and I wont go into full detail, but they had four groups, all of them trained and mentally trained on a certain percentage scale. Group 1 trained 100%, they did no mental training. Group 2, trained 75%, mentally trained 25%, group 3, trained 50%, mentally trained 50% and group 4 trained 25% and mentally trained 75%. The training was ofcourse conditioning and practicing the skills needed for the sport they were in. Mental training was where they were put into trances and visualized themselves training, practicing the skills, moves, etc. The team that trained more mentally did better than any of them.

I remember once I had a dream where I was practicing growling/screaming with the lady that taught in the DVD The Zen of Screaming. I mean I was face to face with her, and if I did something wrong, she corrected me right away. She also showed me alot of techniques such as head position, how to fill up my lungs, not use my throat, etc. And the next morning I was actually able to scream/growl a hell of a lot better than I was able to the day before, which I was basically not able to at all. I know I posted this description of this dream a while back in one of my questions, but as time went on, I actually had the same dream again and was able to remember it a hell of alot better this time. This is the dream I had a few weeks ago. Anyways what do you guys think?

Being able to induce a lucid dream, then practice a skill or study something in your dream, and then remember it when you wake up.
