      Power ability of brain?

I'm pretty curious as to how powerful your brain really is in a lucid dream. For instance, i know that the Brain can replicate pretty much any senses that you have actually felt in real life in a dream... But what about those that you haven't. Can the brain gather enough info about a feeling or an action to make it actually seem real?

For instance, Everyones been burnt before- but can your brain re create that feeling in the form of a fireball?

Or What does lucid sex feel like if one is still a virgin?

Does flying in a dream feel as though it would in real life?

I hope that this question makes sense... I'm not an experienced enough lucid dreamer to be able to answer these questions but I'm hoping that some of you are.

im a virgin, and ive had lucid sex before and it feels REAL. The mind is a powerful tool, it can simulate things with good accuracy.

Also as humans we can only see ahead of us, but in a Lucid Dream you can see 360 degrees around you, if your experienced.

Flying feels real too, ive been on a lot of roller coasters in my life, and you know that feeling you get when you go down a roller coaster around your stomach. I get that feeling when i fly/fall in my lucid dreams

i just took a quick glance at ur post there and it made me think.

if you have experienced the feeling in real life then in a dream you can recreate it. If you havn't felt it in real life and your brain just puts 2 and 2 together and thinks, oh that should feel like that because of this reason. Then how do you no its a real feeling if you havnt felt it before?

At the end of the day if your Lucid Dreaming then you can do what ever you want feel whatever you want to feel. Just as long as you have felt it before if not, then your just gonna get what your brain makes it as.

I no what you where trying to say in the question the only problem is do you no what i'm trying to say... lmao

well, i can answer you only to the question about the flying. YES! it really feels real! The feeling is just...i can't really explain it. you have to experience it to know what is it like. And yes i think the brain CAN gather enough info to make things feel realistic. Have you ever had dreams that you feel something. You touch something in your dreams but you can really feel it on your hands? Well, flying and all the others things u asked are pretty much the same.

haha ya i get exactly what you are trying to say... and its definitely true to a certain extent. There is no way to ever be sure that the brain replicates shooting fire out of your hands exactly how it would feel in real life, because no one can ever feel it in real life to compare the two. However i think the brain is smart enough to do it pretty accurately.

Using flying as an example, The brain knows the feeling of air rushing against your face. The brain also knows the feeling of free falling, perhaps maybe from a roller coaster or what not. I think it can put these two feelings together in context and make a pretty accurate flying feeling.
