My LDs don't feel like real life

Everyone around here says how LDs feel exactly like real life, yet I've had about 15 LDs (all of them DILDs by the way) and I can't say any of them feel like real life. Which is odd though, because during the dream, I find myself saying "wow this all feels so real" yet when I wake up they didn't feel real at all. Could this be that I have bad dream recall, or is it that my LDs just aren't life-like? If I ever WILD, would it feel more like real life? Also, during my LDs, it seems I can do what I want, but when I wake up I think "why did I do n and not x like I wanted to?". So what's up with that?

Perhaps you weren't lucid enough. Especially when you mention that you did not follow through with your goals. I suggest a WBTB time of at least five minutes, where you focus on your main goal, and practice stabilization techniques. Why stabilization techniques?

They increase clarity and vividness. Rubbing one's hands is the most widely-known method to intensify the surroundings. To awaken more of your mind, focus on the details of your hands and surroundings for a couple minutes. Do a math problem.

They can be very life-like, if enough attention is paid.

i had an LD last night (Visualization WILD) and I can say without trying to exaggerate that it felt and looked more real than real life.

Yes, I get a lot of those LD's that dont feel real and wasn't really exciting. Usually those LD's are DILD

The method I use to get these SUPER real LD's is to wake up during a brief awakening after about 7hrs of sleep and visulaize touching objects in my backyard and evetually my visualization turns into a dream.

And dam there real, im not just saying thise to excite you or anything. But LD's CAN be more real than real life.

there are ways to make a dream more realistic when dreaming. You can rub your hands together to make a dream more realistic, It works a lot. You could also try just saying "More realism now" or take a "realistic" pill. But probably the most effective thing is practice.

      Good luck nullby
