I've never expierienced this while trying to LD. I was laying down with the guy telling me i am dreaming and wave sounds, and other soothing sounds then all of a sudden my body starts getting all numb, then i cannot swallow/breathe but i was still fully aware i am trying to go to sleep and wasn't in a sleep stage yet, then i can breathe/swallow again and say to myself "this time i'll just go with it". Felt strange yet good at the same time if you know what i mean. |

Have you heard the gypsy hymns in the odd hours of the night?
Well i've had SP but maybe it was SP for a second as i could not breathe/swallow although i could open my eyes and shut them normally unlike SP where i cannot. the rest i dunno if it was SP, it was like all tingley and good feeling. Hard to explain but |

I could be wrong, but that seems like the 'onset' stages of SP, whereas the 'Tingly' feeling could be the first full stages. I have experienced the inability to swallow just before SP, but breathing is a bit different. |

It was like a hiccup inside my mouth, i never breathed through my nose so don't know if it was really unable to breathe but not through my mouth, like i open it and it was trying to hiccup but nothing comes out, and didn't let me breathe through my mouth. Lasted about 4 seconds, i'm laying on my pillow and it feels as if my throat is gone and unable to breathe with my mouth open, just a hiccup thing with no sound or anything coming out, my neck felt like it had no adams apple, later on i felt my neck and it was all soft like. like when you sleep on your hand and cant feel it but it's all super soft. it was like that but with my neck. |
