When ever I drive a car in dreams(non lucids) the breaks never work and I get really worried about it. I bet it would be fun in a lucid dream though.

Driving is so hot LOL. OMG I always drive that infiniti g37. OMG and show off to DCs.

My first ever bout of lucidity was when I dreamed that I crashed my car, I woke up straight afterwards unfortunately though.

I've driven a car in non-lucids when I was small, and tonight in a lucid since it was verry unvivid I decided to do something vivid as this, but when I tried to fly away and crash with the car I crashed and became a WoW character.. And yea, you dont need a key to start the car

I used to drive alot in lucids. (my form of transport) I have drove vans, cars, trucks and a bus once which was awesome. Never a bike though.

Here is a bit of the lucid dream where i drove a bus

I was walking past the bus stop in my town and i saw a bus in the station full of people but no driver (i have an idea) so i got on and got in the drivers seat. The people looked horrified, i wonder why? I drove out of the bus station and while i am driving i started to converse with the people, i recall asking any of you watch my wife and kids? i couldn't think of anything to talk about, nobody responded. I tryed for a bit longer but they all seemed too scared to talk. After a while of driving the bus i noticed that there was a hot girl up the back so i asked a dream character to take over which he did and i went up the back and i was just about to make out with her before her fat friend started trying to stop me which ruined my fun.

Anyway back on subject driving is awesome, i haven't drove much lately but i might start to drive more since my flying ability seems to have gone.

I wish i could find some really nice cars though instead of ordinary ones which are always parked around.

Yeh but there are never any nice cars around to drive and i am not good at summoning except for this once where there were these stunning cars all parked in a row. I decided to see what the car was called, it was a Java. (don't know if thats a car) As i was about to get in a man walks out of a house really annoyed so i get in the car and go to drive off but we end up fighting and i wake up

Perhaps it was his car.

Yeah the only cars I ever spot are pieces of shit but its still fun driving them. The motor bike I had that dream though was insane. I was ripping down the street in it. Felt like I was going about 90 mph. I cycled bicycles a couple of times and thats fun too but nothing compared to driving.

I can't make things appear yet either. The only thing I ever managed to summon was a spoon accidentally. I was showing my tricks to DC's of my friends and one of them told me to make a spoon appear so I tried but it didn't work. Once I stopped thinking about it I realized I had a spoon in my hand.

Another cool trick I did that dream was flew and grabbed the top of a ladder and I was balancing on it. I held the ladder in mid air and told my friend to climb up it but he wouldn't for some reason. DC's never do anything I ask them to do for some reason.

Last night as I was going to sleep this was going to be my dream goal for the night. Didn't go lucid that night or have a dream (that I can remember).

Started off I was non lucid and I wasn't actually there I was watching Malcom from Malcom in the middle walking down the road for some reason then all of a sudden I realized I was there and it was a dream so I walked off and saw a phone booth. I walked up and punched it but it didn't break and I fell flat on my ass. I wasted no time and kept walking then I saw a motorbike and knew what had to be done. It was one of those racing bikes so I hopped on and pulled the throttle and I was off. I was tearing it down the street and getting mad speeds. It was really comfortable sitting on the bike for some reason. I sped up the side of a mountain and the grand finale I drove off the side of the mountain. Dream ended before I hit the ground but I was satisfied with what I'd done. Didn't regret driving off the edge at all.

What I've realized about heights in dreams is you have to anticipate the landing before hand otherwise the dream will end because your mind doesn't come up with an outcome quick enough.

In every single dream that i've driven any form of vehicle i've ended up crashing it. In a very violent manner too

last time I was driving towards one of those bridges that fold up to allow boats to pass underneath (Whatever they're called) And as the bridge was rising up I, for some reason, put the pedal to the medal and drove my car up on the bridge and jumped off into the air.. I must've been flying forever, but when I did land I woke up almost screaming

But hell, i'll try it out once I manage to actually get Lucid.

Interesting thread. I've driven cars before in my lucid dreams, and I don't have a license in real life, I've hardly even been behind a wheel. I'm a really crappy dream driver, because I never seem to get the car to go very fast at all. It's like my mind is struggling to come up with what driving a car on the road would be like.

I cant drive but in my dreams i can drive always white sports cars the last driving dream i had, i couldnt start the car properly then in the dream i realised i was so drunk and thats why i couldnt manage starting the car up,
i dont think ive ever even sat in the driving seat in reality, so i got someone else to drive my car for me in my drunk dream................

If you think that driving cars in LDs is weird, you should try flying a jet plane..

For those of you who drive vehicles in lucid dreams do you drive them as you would in real life or do you just put your foot on the pedal and steer?

I mostly go for the second option.

I've lucid driven vehicles before. My favorite was tearing down a dark highway in a limo with screaming passengers. I couldn't see where I was going, didn't really need to. I crashed the limo for the hell of it and it was one of the greatest experiences of my lucid dream life.

Yeh i find sometimes that the steering is a bit unresponsive which isn't good when you are approaching a sharp turn driving at a high speed.

I was in a top fuel dragster at a nearby dragstrip. I did everythiing just like a real driver would have.
I woke up when the run was over.

But mostly I will just pick up cars and toss them as far as I can.

I rarely ever drive in waking life so driving in dreams is a treat, driving in lucid dreams is the greatest.

I really should try tossing a few cars around in dream sometime too.

I've only driven once in my dreams, and it was a non-lucid. I hijacked this 750 dirtbike, and drove it for a bit, but it was LAME! it would only go, like, twenty or thirty, and I normally rip it up on my dirt bike in real life; kinda a dissapointment. Oh, and I don't think I was using the throttle; or if I was, it wasn't working, cuz my speed was pretty much constant.
But if I ever do this in a lucid, it's gonna rock.

I do drive IRL and driving in dreams in kind of freaky. I've headed into ongoing traffic but I can't crash. My car ends ups sliding inbetween cars, kinda like the bus in Harry Potter. It's thrilling, to say the least.

when I drive in a dream, it's like I become the car.. It rocks xD

I have that problem too! Really frustrating!

yeah, man. I took a sports car out on the highway in a lucid and mashed on the gas. shit was fun. then I hit the breaks hard while turning, and skid to a stop off the highway.

You know what's better than a car? a jet ski xD
