Thread: Weird dream recall

Sometimes when I wake up (Mostly after I've woken up quite a few times during the night) I ask myself if I had any dreams or if I can remember any....And Sometimes at first I think....No..Then I lay there for a few minutes and I'm thinking "Wait...yes I did..o.o"


Is this how lots of people's dream recall is?

Yes!!!! Exactly!

I'll usually remember a really long or vivid dream the second I wake up, but I always have to sit there and think for a minute or two, because I know I must have had more than one dream! And usually I can recall about 3 while still in my bedroom. Then, during the day, something will completely accidentally spark my memory and I'll remember 2 or 3 more.

Sometimes you will just remember a feeling you had about a dream and no details. But often times if you sit and ponder on that feeling the dream will come to you. I have also found that if I don't write it right away the dream will fade and eventually be lost. Sometimes like Scwigglie said something during the day will spark a memory about a dream. I believe that is where deja vu comes from. If nothing else i say you should try to write down your feelings about a dream if you can't remember anything else. I will get easier and easier to remember them. But don't get discouraged, sometimes you will just not be able to remember.
