[SOFTWARE] Dream Journal software {look what i found on my hard drive...}.

Some of you veterans may remember a program I made to keep dream journals.

Well I just done gone and found it again on my hard drive, ain't I.

Called IdXLog, for it is a "log" and was made by "Identity X", I've used it personally for a while (when I was actively LDing) and you might find it useful.

The coolest of it's features was/is a "Guru" option that rated your dreams and gave you average scores and various stats.

It's an improved version to any you may have used before (not likely, but still).

I have no idea if it works on Vista. It's written in ye olde VB6 (I'm a changed man now), so....

BTW: I'm no longer maintaining this; VB6 is horrible and besides I lost the source. The email I gave in the program's gone, too. I've scanned it for viruses, it's free but check anyhow. And it is available strictly without warranty.

is there any way to make this available on Mac OS X?

AFAIK no way whatsoever, especially lacking the source. :?

It'd be nice if the .DYY files were encrypted so no one could bypass the password by opening them in notepad or something. But other than that nice program.

Haha yeah. VB6 as far as I'm aware didn't have encryption built in (I could be wrong). And, no, I couldn't be bothered to write a routine myself. As I've said, I've lost the source.

At some point I might rewrite one in a more modern language, if only to encourage myself to LD.

You could always encrypt the file yourself.
