my first proper lucid dream - thankyou so much dreamingviews!

OK so this is pretty freaking irritating, I just wrote a monster of a message all about the lucid dream I just had and when I clicked submit it decided to log me out and I lost it...... grrr

Well I'll just summarise then... I just had a false awakening, and I checked my hands out and for the first time in the 2 weeks or so I've been obsessively looking at my hands, it wasn't the same 5 fingers staring back at me.. it was at least 10. I was dreaming!

The most interesting thing I did in this lucid dream was to 'summon' a guinea pig.. I simply said that in a minute or so a guinea pig would appear on the floor... then got distracted by a curtain or something.. when I looked back, there it was, a little guinea pig crawling around on the floor! It was the most amazing and weird moment of my life... everyone always says how vivid lucid dreams are and they REALLY ARE... it was just like real life but I could tell things to appear.. and do anything... at this point my alarm went off (for the 7th time today)... but I don't mind that much because at least now I know lucid dreams are accessible, are amazing, and I'll have fun with them in the future!

p.s. guys I think getting my first message deleted kinda zapped all the excitement/energy out of my 2nd post.. but I am pretty over the moon right now!

Congrats on your first lucid dream. Believe it or not, there are people around here who haven't had one years after finding out about them...*cough*like me *cough*.

But, aye, sounds like it was fun. And for the future, you can typically hit Back in your browser and it should send you back to the message composing page with the message still in the input field. At least in the latest browsers. And if that were not to work due to being logged out then it could also work to log in...then hit back twice or three times until you reach it.

Anyway, good luck, I'm hoping to add an LD counter to my signature soon myself, heh.

lol yeah, seems like everyone has to have one around here :P thankfully when i joined i'd already had a lucid dream randomly a few weeks earlier so mine was never just full of 0's..

But who cares! You had a lucid, and summoned a guinea pig! I think that's great for a first lucid, I still have a lot of trouble summoning things.
