      How to have a WILD easily!

      WILD is simply falling asleep while keeping your consciousness.

      The hardest part of WILD is keeping your consciousness as your falling asleep. By accident I developed a way to retain your consciousness while falling asleep.

      The other day I was eating Almonds, I was playing around with the almonds and I put it under my top lip (the area between your nose and top Lip inside your mouth) and noticed how it felt. Its kind of weird to explain but when its there you can really feel it and keep your mind on it.

      So I thought Id put it under my lip while doing a WILD tonight. So i put it in my pocket and went to sleep.

      During a brief awakening after about 6 hours of sleep I took it out of my pocket and put it there. Its not uncomfortable so your able to fall alseep with it while keeping your mind on it. (Just make sure its a small/medium sized Almond, a big one might be uncomfortable)

      The next thing I know my body was undergoing extreme distortions and i knew it was SP so I managed to have a Lucid Dream via WILD.

      Keep in mind im not good at WILD (I always lose my consciousness while falling asleep) but for some reason when the Almond was there you can really keep your mind on it.

      I know it sounds kind of weird but it really works. Im gonna try it again tonight.

      Yeah...perhaps focusing on a certain object while making your WILD attempt can assist you...mybe it keeps you focused on your goal or something along those lines. I also despise almonds...but hey, if it works for you, try it agian, let us know how it goes and I'll try it with something else.

      Wrap the almond up in some cling wrap if you don't like the taste of them.

      Thats interesting. In Sweden we have somthing called "snus", a non smoking tobacco in inch-large teabag-ish bags, that you put under your lip. It stings the lip a little (stings very very bad if you never tried it). I almost never go to sleep with a snus inside my mouth, something that pretty often happened by accident a few years ago, due to plain laziness. Maybe I should try to use it as a little helper on keeping me relatively concious? I wonder how the tobacco and nicotine affects ones abilities during an attempt to LD? I read somewhere that you shouldnt smoke a cigarette for at least an hour before going to bed, but it can actually be useful to do so, to make the lungs more relaxed. But snus involves no smoke, it just lays under the lip and slowly "drips" out in the mouth. I know it may sound really nasty and disgusting, but its something very common here, like smoking a hookah in middle eastern countries.

      Sounds less gross than chewing tobacco.

      I tried this and it didn't help me. I just woke up with a very bland peanut in my mouth.

      I don't like almonds either. Perhaps I will try this with a rather large peanut.

      My AP chem teacher told me to get out of the lab if I smell almonds. This could lead to some bad nightmares.

      I think this would be a lot safer with something like a tight bracelet, or even socks if you usually don't wear socks to bed.

      Very concerned with the very realistic possibility of choking on it as it falls to the back of your throat in the night. Otherwise, it sounds like it could well work as it retains your focus. I think this might be the same principle as those who meditate with ever such a small discomfort or pain, in order to retain their focus.

      If you guys afraid of chocking on it, I've tried something similar that doesn't require putting anything in your mouth. I laid on top of a small marble, which created a sort of dull pain that acted as an anchor for my consciousness. It's the same method as what the OP was talking about, just a slightly different way of doing it. I've also been successful with taping a penny on my forehead

      so when that does happen what do you do to go into a LD. iv tried wild few times but i get stuck at that part with wierd viberations, distortions and sounds. what is the exact mental process to skip or get out of that and go into LD
