Dreams on replay?

Listen to this, I want to know if this has ever happened to anybody else. I had the same dream twice in a row but some things had changed, and I knew that it was the second time that night, but still just played along.

Here's the dream:
I was in a living room with my "mom"(It wasn't really my mom) and my "sister" (I don't have a sister) and a man who was the angry violent ex-husband came in with a gun, he said he would kill us if we didn't make him a check of 5000$, so I picked up the check book wrote him a check and he left (more things happened I'm just leaving it out for the sake of the length of this port.)

So the dream ends and starts over again. the same things happened, and I was like: "ok, this is what I did last time, so I should do this again since I survived the last time". And I pick up the check book, and there were no more checks in it, so could not write the check. The ex-husband got SO angry, and I was like: "sorry man I would if could you know". And I forget how it ended

Anyways has this ever happened to anyone? If yes share your story.

I have had two dreams which have had the same scenario and characters and everything, but they haven't had the same plot.

i had a similar experience, i was in some kind of woods but the second time around there is more stuff

My dreams do that some times. Once I was walking down some stairs, then just repeated it for no reason.
