So I was in this nice lounge with my wife, with lots of others around laughing and having a good time. We decided to leave and I somehow realized I was in a dream. As we went out the door I put my left hand on the wall, and we turned to the left and I kept my hand on the wall. I wondered how long I would stay in the dream and decided to not remove my hand. Things started to go dark like most my LD endings, and I was back in my bed awake (so i thought). One eye was open, and my left hand was in the air and darned if I could still feel the now invisible wall under my hand! I thought this was really cool...some residual sensation. But it kept up for a number of seconds and I wondered when my hand could move past the wall...then it did. Since I was back in my bed I just closed my eyes and dozed back off, not realizing I had really been asleep the whole time. When the scene went black I had simply dream teleported, not awakened. Now I wonder if I have mistaken a wake up before with a teleport. Keeping my hand on the object may have carried me through the blackout and into another dream, avoiding wakeup. Will definitely try this again!
