Walking through walls.

I had my third lucid. It seems that I'm actaully just getting better at dilds. In this dream though, I finally mastered the ability to make things levitate, and I accidently discovered how to make things teleport. Anyway, I thought that I'd just try something new, so I tried to walk through a metal/glass door, but every time that I went to walk through, it was like it was made fo the same stuff that covers candy apples, and then half way through it would freeze, and I'd have to back out. Next time I'm trying a wooden door, and getting a run at it first. Anyway, does anyone else have to practice a things to get better at things? I mean, there's some things (such as flying) that I just can't do. I'll probably get it soon enough, but I'm going to have to work my way up to it. Right now I can only move small objects, teleport things, and half walk through doors. : P

A small suggestion: Don't focus on the wall, focus your attention on what's behind it. Pretty much ignore the wall. You're running through it like it isn't there, it's not your goal.

I agree with Redrivertears. (By the way, where have you been? I haven't seen you around much.)

Some things you may have to practice on and some things do come more easily than others. I've found that it's easy for me to walk through walls, but I can't really summon anything. I haven't really had enough LDs to get some practice in, though. The primary thing, though, is to be confident in whatever you're doing. If you want to fly, throw yourself off of a cliff and soar around! (Just make sure you're lucid. It never hurts to check.)

Basically, if you think that some idea you come up with will help you accomplish what you desire, go for it! It doesn't have to be any elaborate scheme or a pre-set notion. Just have fun!

If you can teleport things. Focus on either teleporting the wall or yourself past it.

For me I look at th object really close, like a window or wall, then put my hand slowly through it, then moving the rest of me through - seems to work for me. Running into it you are ALWAYS going to have the thought of hitting it in the back of your mind.

As for flying, climb a tree or a building and jump off. I have trouble getting off the ground, so go up to a high place and jump, then swoop down and fly up, works every time :D
