Thread: LDs

Im sure i had a vey short LD last night , i remember i done a RC and it worked and everythin was so vivid and thats all i remember ,it lasted for about 3 seconds when all my other ones lasted about 10 mins ,
could this be a LD or me just imagioning stuff ?

If you were sure you were dreaming which was confirmed by an RC then it was a lucid dream, they can be really short at times and you will occasionally get a short one and then some long ones, try not to let it worry you, it was most likely a lucid dream

because uselly my LDs are Long but Dull but this one last night was Short but Vivid

Don't worry about it, now that you have had a taste of how vivid they can be you know what to expect, maybe when you next have a longer lucid dream try increasing the vividness, it is most likely that this one was so short because it was so vivid and clear, in the next one you have try and experiment because if you can get the right combination you will likely be able to get long vivid lucid dreams, best of luck to you mate

I had a couple of lucids a couple of nights ago that only lasted a second or two, I woke up after I realized I was dreaming. It really sucks when that happens but even that second or two classifies as lucidity.

Perhaps u become lucid right at the end of your rem cycle. I know that sounds unlikely but it happens alot to me. It is deeply frustrating if you can't re-enter the lucid.
