I just got through having a really amazing and odd experience.
I went to bed around three this morning. Got up at 6:30. Drove home, got new tires for my car, replaced a battery in some guy's generator for his house, read for about half an hour, then went back to sleep. I probably got back to bed anywhere from 8:30 to 9.
I slept for I don't know how long, then woke up. I was thinking about how much I enjoyed the dream I was just in, so I thought to myself, "Well, I'll just go back into it." I tried, missed by a little bit, but ended up in a dream.
And when I ended up in the dream, I was taken completely offguard by the fact that I was fully lucid. I haven't had an LD in months.
This is where the "Split Vision" first happened. As I watched, the bottom left side of my field of vision started to become the spine of the book Good Omens, which I had been reading when I fell asleep. I blinked, and then I was seeing the book and part of my surrounding bed out of that field of vision. Moving around got a whole lot harder in the dream, as if I had gotten heavier. I took one last step, which was the heaviest so far, and my vision completely ripped out of the dream into WL and the act of me stepping became the act of me lifting myself up in bed.
Ok, that was cool. So I lay back down, and think to myself "Ok, we're going to try that again." I wait a few moments. I start to see this scene play out in my head, and I'm a part of it. Then, after a few moments, I'm no longer watching myself in the scene, but I'm in the scene itself. I was completely lucid, again, and tried to take control of the dream this time. I got a little bit farther, but finally ended up having my vision ripped out of the dream again. I was awake.
I decided to give it one last shot.
So, I lay down, think to myself "You're going to have another LD, and this is how it's going to happen." I thought up a scene in my head, set the specifics for it and everything. The best part is that it wasn't one my mind randomly provided, but instead a scene of my choosing. Anyway, I made the scene, watched it play out for a little bit and then very carefully tried to move my body, and found out that yes, I was asleep, and in the dream. I had a little bit of split vision to begin with, but then calmed myself down and took control. This LD lasted for a good five minutes, I would say, which is the longest I've ever had since I was a little kid. The split vision happened a few more times during the dream, but it was incredibly brief and took hardly any amount of willpower to refocus on the dream, until the end of course. Also, during this dream, I had the interesting experience of giving a verbal command to my LD. It was interesting in that when I spoke the command in the dream, I could hear myself speaking it in WL as well from where I lay in bed. I woke up after just not being able to control it anymore, once again succumbing to the split vision. I was actually kid of weary from all the willpower that had been exerted during these three dreams, and decided to just sleep without being lucid until my body felt like waking up. And I did just that.

Some things to note: LDing and dream reproduction felt more natural than they ever had in my entire life. It felt like something that was just no problem at all to do. I mean, before the second dream, all I did was tell myself that I was going to LD again, and I was there in minutes. And, with the third dream, I actually thought up the scene that I wanted my dream to be, and within moments moved straight from the waking state into the completely lucid dream that I was mapping out in my mind. It was incredibly odd, and I don't know if I could ever reproduce the feeling that I had. It was excellent, though. I'll post up the dreams themselves in my dream journal, along with a copy of this post so I can have it for my own future reference.

I didn't really know where to put this thread, so I just stuck it in general lucid discussion.
