      contacting the non-living through LD

so summer is over, im back in school and all that great stuff. I haven't been trying as hard as I used to when it came to LD'ing, basically i spent my whole summer partying so i couldn't remember my dreams anyway lol

anyway on to the story. A really, really weird dream occurred to me maybe a week or two ago that considered a dead relative, my mother whom passed away about 10 years ago. This isn't the first time I have seen/interacted with known dead people/relatives in my dreams. Anyway, the only real thing i remember about that dream was me sitting there talking about lord knows what, and in walks this familiar women who i think i started a conversation with but im not sure. I remember her setting her purse down on the counter, and the next thing I know is listening to her tell me "Chad, I know this is going to sound weird, but i am your mother." at that instant i realized what was happening and quickly tried to exit my dream as fast as i can. I did, had a false awakening, then woke up for real drenched in sweat.

okay here's my real question: Do you think it's possible, or have you already, had a conversation with someone that had passed away, in your lucid dream? You know just have a conversation with them to see what it's like? that maybe passed away loved ones are trying to contact you in your dreams or vise versa, trying to contact them. I dont believe dreams are just chemical reactions, actually i know, dreams always have something important to tell us.

      thanks for any input.

Though you may disagree with my views and thats fair enough, i think that its possible to speak to the dead however it will only be a representation of the dead person, you will be speaking to a creation of your own mind so technically you would not be speaking to the real person, just your mind.

I definitely believe it's possible. Probable? No. But you can test if it's really happening.

Here's what I would do if you gain lucidity. Ask her something factual that you would not know but she would. For example, this happened to me once and I asked what her the last 4 numbers of her social security number, but they did not match up. She also volunteered her dad's full name, I knew the first and last name but not the middle, and she gave me the right first and last name but the wrong middle name. So I pretty much deduced that it had to be dream constructed from my memories of her.

The thing is you can't assume it really is your mom's spirit or something just on how she acts, because your brain may just be creating a construct of how you remember her. You have to test it.

      good luck!

Technically, contacting the non-living also includes rocks. So yes, that's possible.
How I discover what my dreams are about

In my last lucid dream I made pink sparks between my palms. I was trying to make a white ball of energy...
