Thread: Lucid Dreaming and Confidence.

This Topic is inspired on another topic on this issue.
In this one I want to do a little survey to figure out the connection between overall self-confidence and lucid dreaming.

I'm going to make a simple question template for ALL dreamers on these boards. For those of us who are terribly unsuccessfull in Lucid Dreaming, for those of use who are very successfull in Lucid Dreaming and for all of those that fall in a cathegory somewhere in between the former 2.

Allthough for acurate, meaningfull results the answers, allthough maybe a somewhat personal/sensative issue, must be answered with a 100% honousty. These issues are shame and pride. Be honoust nevertheless for Lucidity's sake.

Questions:

1) How succesfull are your overall Lucid endeavors?
[rate 1 to 10, 1 being completely unsuccessful 10 being ultimately succesfull]
2) How Self-Confident are you overall in life?
[rate 1 to 10....etc]

For me this would have to be:
1) How succesfull are your overall Lucid endeavors?
[6]
2) How Self-Confident are you overall in life?
[7,5]

I'm curious for the results

1) 5
2) 7.5

1) 9/10 (have had natural LDs all my life very regularly, tried initiating them for the first time ever last night and had 5, not great ones though)
2) 9/10, I have a pretty much imperturbable belief that everything will work out well.

I guess these numbers have to help your theory.

4. I have much room for improvement. Actually, this acts as a motivator.

2) How Self-Confident are you overall in life?
7. I'm uncertain about the future, but I feel like eventually my hard work will pay off.

I think the reason I'm not very self-confident is because I'm shy, and I'm shy because I'm not very self-confident. I wonder if I could use lucid dreaming to boost my confidence.
