      I'm pissed...

      Last night I woke up at around 2:30 AM and didn't fall asleep until about 5:30 AM. I would have been completely fine with that because right before I fell asleep I did the FILD technique and it worked like a freakin' charm!! When I opened my dream eyes I guess I wasn't ready. In my dream I still couldn't move my body and I saw a figure standing my my doorway and the hallway light was on. It scared the hell out of me and I tried to scream as loud as I could. Everything began to fade and I realized my mistake right then. I woke up and didn't sleep at all after that.

      Current Goals: Try dream drugs. Perform a FILD at this hotel i'm staying at..

      It sounds like you've been visited by the Old Hag, an apparition that is uncommon, but not unheard of, when people WILD (and sometimes when they unintentionally WILD). It's nothing to be worried about, and you'll learn to avoid/ignore it, and it'll go away. Sucks that it happened, but it's in the past now. And you can learn from it.

      The 'old hag' is actually a reference to the feeling that someone (an old hag) is sitting on your chest when you experience sleep paralysis. More likely, the figure by your doorway was just a random DC.
