hmm lucid drea...PROBLEM!

hey guys, i have been teaching myself LDing over the past year or so. i have a dream journal with about 20 entries, not bad. each entry has about 3-6 dreams. i was born with the natural gift (i guess?) of a heightened sense of dream recall. what i mean is that when i start getting into reading LDs and stuff, i can remember seriously 6 dreams vividly, i dont even write them when i wake up, i can remember them sometimes all day.

anyways, my problem is kind of simple. the biggest road block for me and lucid dreaming is that the reality checks dont seem to help. i always forget them, and i have like this feeling where i dont want to se my watch to ring every hour.

i duno it seems like laziness, but a laziness you cant help. i dont know if anyone else experiences this, but i have trouble writing in my dream journal even though i can remember the dream all day because im just to damn tired. somenights i go to bed and i dont even think about LDs cause im too tired and im like oh ill do it tomorrow night.

any suggestions?

i once almost had an LD because i was like "wait. am i dreaming?" and i remember saying it to myself OH MAN i have been kicking myself in the nuts ever since. it just seemed that i almost used logic to get through it, because i saw an angelic light and waslike this is too perfect.

Hmmm.... A lot of people don't like to RT (reality check) because they're too lazy. They think they have to do this elaborate thing where they look at they're hands, try to summon stuff, ask themeselves if they're dreaming, etc. The easiest way (I think) to check, is simply to pinch yourself. If it doesn't hurt, you're dreaming. It's that simple. Which ever RT you choose to use, just get into a habbit of doing it to the point where you don't even think about it. Remember: the more you do it in waking life, the more likely you will do it in a dream. If you do it in a dream, then you'll realize that you're dreaming, and you're then lucid. Good luck :)
