I have seen some beautiful and amazing colours in dreams but I don't think I have seen a new colour. The closest thing would have been when I tried to increase the vividness in colour using just my mind. All the colours became really vibrant and really lit up, like they were glowing.

i had tried this in the past apart from it went the other way round and my dream went dark and i had to wake myself up and wen i woke up i flicked the light and my eyes were still adjusting lol weird man

Hey guys think of this: there may be an infinite number of primary colors. To make this easier to understand i'll just call them color 1,2,3,4....

Heres the concept. My red is color 1,my blue is color 2 and my yellow is color 3. Now lets say your red is color 4, blue is color 7 and yellow is color 1. We both go through our lives thinking we see the same thing because thats the only thing we know as red and you can't describe a color other then the connections you make throughout your life.

Now, in a dream I might see color 4 when my eyes only see 1,2 and 3. Viola "outside spectrum" color.

Theres no proof whatsoever that other colors are impossible. Although, I agree that most other color experiences are most likely not what they seem, its a possibility.
