Talking Lucid.
No, it's not a name of a fancy new TV show. But since I have been here, I was on a dry spell of about 6 months! Since talking about it and reading about it, I have managed to come over this dry spell and now can LD fairly frequently. So it got me thinking does just thinking and talking about it aid your development and your frequency of lucid dreams?
I personally think it does. The more you think about it, and the more you talk about it, the more success you will have, based on my personal experiences. I make it habit, that before I go to bed, I will read the forum for 30 minutes or so then go to sleep with what I have read fresh on my mind, and then normally find I have more success.
Does anyone else feel the same?

I absolutely agree. The last few months of school I stopped thinking about it, stopped writing dreams down, didn't mention it to many people at all. I was caught up in other things and didn't have the time or effort to really care about it all that much. Since then, though-- I've had more spare time than I know what to do with, and I find myself telling my mom my dreams every morning at breakfast, actually remembering to do reality checks during the day-- certainly thinking and talking about it helps.
It makes sense, though- the more you think about it in real life, the better chance you have of it coming to mind in a dream, thus realizing you're dreaming. It's basically the concept of RC's to a different extent...

I agree that this would work, but my minds on a completely different planet half the time so theres not much chance of this working for me unfortunately, i guess its just bad luck, this would be great for me if it did work because i'm on here most my day!
