No, it means that you have a mental block about it. |

I had a lucid dream and found out I was a coward or stupid. Well, in the dream I noticed I must be in a dream, however I didn't jump out a window. Basically I wanted to jump out of my window, however I didn't know if I was truly dreaming. So I didn't jump. |

Thats what RCs are for! Breath through your nose while you're pinching shut. If one RC doesn't work (doesn't convince your you're dreaming), go on and try a different one. |

Well the projections of our imaginations can be very real and judging the surroundings can be difficult when a depiction of real life is presented, i suggest that next time you do another RC before jumping, that way you are reassuring yourself that no harm will come to you physically. |

That happened to me this morning. I was fully lucid, but I was unsure of myself, as I've had countless falling dreams (non-lucids). And unlike in other flying lucids, I wasn't starting from the ground--I was at least four stories up. I tried three times to swing through the window... I did make it, though. Funny thing is, the only way to gain altitude (and clear the trees) was to flap my arms! xD |

Why jump and smack the ground when you can gently float down? |

Totally, i think The Matrix is one of the best ways to show in a Motion Picture how LDs work. "there is no spoon" is one of the best phrases in there because in an LD u just have to accept the reality of the reality that is not there. In my first LD i remember i just accepted there are no people around me and no floor below, i began to fly and have been good at it eves since. But yeah everyone falls the first time. |
