Alright, I had just started reading techniques about lucid dreaming last night, and was a bit intimidated by a few of them.
So I decided that I was going to try it my own way.
I put away my PSP and tried to sleep.
As I was reading the articles, I was telling myself that I was going to go lucid that night.
As I was dozing off, I kept my mind active.
I was thinking about things that had happened earlier on in the day, thinking about some math problems, etc.
Then I must have dozed off.

I usually wake up a few times in the middle of the night, then fall back asleep within a minute or so.
So about the third or fourth time I woke up, I did a reality test.
I looked up at the clock on my ceiling (laser clock) and the clock had changed from digital to analog.
I thought that this might have just been a setting changed somehow on the base (even though there is no analog setting) and thought I would do another reality test.

I outstretched my hand and snapped my fingers and sure enough, sparks went shooting out of the tips.
After I did this, I knew I wasn't awake.
So I grabbed my remote control off my nightside table and flicked on my TV.
It started with the strange fuzzy screen thing, so I went to see what channel I was on.
I pushed the info button and it said that I was on channel 9999999.
So I switched to the Discovery channel, and there was some program on the rain forest on.
I thought I would try out my "Dream Powers" and managed to jump inside of the TV screen.

I ended up in the rain forest with monkeys and everything for a while, but then all of a sudden a man walked up and sprayed me with a super soaker.
But instead of water coming out, a whole bunch of scenes went flying at me and I was teleported into one.

Somehow, I got teleported into some kind of porno movie, and then ended up with my dog licking at my face in the morning.

The thing I was surprised about the most was the vividness and reality of the lucid dream.
When I had a false-awakening, I truly thought I was awake.

I was also surprised at how I was able to achive a lucid dream at my first try, without even following any guidelines.

It was a truly magical experience
