Ok so I set my alarm clock to go off at 2:30am and play that LucidRemix song, then turn off at 3am . I tested everything before hand and it worked. So I fell asleep at around 12am. I woke back up around 3:07am. So I knew that it played. But I don't remember having a dream or anything...this is the second time it happened. First time I did this I was listening to music then fell asleep and it was just on my CD and it got around to playing that after sometime. Then I woke up and played the CD again and fell back asleep. And again I woke up a few minutes later after the LucidRemix played.
First time: With music - woke up few mins after it played (same night)
Second time: With music - woke up few mins after it played (same night)
Third time: Without music - woke up few mins after it played
Any suggestions on what I should do to help me realize I'm in a dream? That song isn't working...

Did you do an RC when you woke up? It may have been a false awakening

RC all the time
my first lucid was a False Awakening, and thankfully I was aware of what to do next (reality check) and wha tt odo to get rid of dream paralisys (focus on some dream object to estabilize the dream)
you should be prepared for anything... when you find yourself in another room, in another place, in an "insight" moment (to sum up, EVERYWHERE) do a reality check
I know it sounds boring at first, but hey, dream journals were also boring, and I'm pretty sure everyone on this forum has at least started one..
believe me, you will be sure you are awake no matter if you are awake or dreaming.. the only thing you have in order to distinguish both is a reality check
actually, now I do a reality check whenever I am not sure if it is a dream or reality (which means ALL THE TIME)
be sure it will work
