Hey guys, just a general sleep question
Ok, lets say one night u get 10 hours sleep, and then the next night....you only get 6 hours sleep.
Will ur body feel as though u got 8 hours sleep both nights? or will u be really tired after only 6 hours sleep
Thanx in advanced

Good question but I don't think so. If you reverse it, let's say you get 6 hours of sleep the first night and then 10 next night I'd say you'd feel as though you had you got 8 hours of sleep both nights. But thats just my opinion, no scientific proofs behind that :).
If you sleep too little one night you recover by sleeping deeper not longer, but I'm not sure if that helps you... ;)

thanx for the reply, anyone else got any ideas?

I agree with BohmaN here, but man do I wish that was the case.
I do think that if you continously get the same amount of sleep for a long while and then miss a goodnights sleep you wont feel it as much.

Nope. I sleep bout 9 - 10 hours every night, but I feel dead tired if I have to get up early, or if I am up late. :(
Like this Sunday... 4:00 flight :(:(:(

I find if I sleep too much, like 10-12 hours, I wake up still tired.

Interesting question, I don't think it will seem like 8 hours rest for each day because I think that you need a good amount of time to sleep around 7 hours each night. As each day takes up energy, your body will need to rest and process the day's thoughts, so it needs a good amount of sleep to recharge for the next day. If it gets a good amount of sleep on one night like 10 hours for example then it will have a lot of energy but it if it has 6 hours the next day, then it won't have had enough time to recharge for the next day.
