Thumbs up

I will like to know how often do you do Reality Checks in the day and if there is a particular method to your RCs.
As well as how this has influenced in your Lucid Dreams.

Thanks

well..I usually don't do it...I rarely do that "unfortunately"
anyway ..the best thing I like to do Rc when I open a book I just say what I want to see then close it and opene it again at the same page, if I see what I say that means I'm dreaming but iI do that at least twice just to make sure

One way to help you remember to do Reality Checks is by wearing a digital watch and seeting it so that it bleeps every hour. When it bleeps just do the breathing or putting your finger through your hand technique.

I heard that you're supposed to aim for at least 20 RCs a day, so that's what I try to do. When you first start do even more to get in the habit.

Mostly I do the nose/time/text RCs. Try a bunch of different ones to see what works best for you.

I used to do them 30+ times a day but recently have almost stopped doing them [1-5 a day max] and still become lucid because I tryed an rc in a non-lucid.

I do about thirty to forty a day now, maybe more. I haven't noticed too much of an effect yet, but they haven't had enough time to sink into my dreams, I think. In about another two weeks I should start getting some DILDs. I actually just wrote a fairly lengthy article about RC's and my take on how to best use them.

At the very least, I go out of my way to do one a day for each of my six selected dream signs. They are starting to work. I've had 2 or 3 LD's since the beginning of the year due to reality checking in a dream.

Hmm well I'm trying to do as many as i can per day to get my habit back (I practiced lucid dreaming for one year, then quit for 4 years, now 2 weeks ago I started trying again). For the first 3 days I did a bunch, like 50+, but after that I trailed off and now I'm doin 20-30 per day.

RC's actually help me out a lot. I've had probably 30 LD's since I first heard about it 5 years ago, and about half of them were from RC's....the other half was random lucidity from no appearant source ;D. My last lucid dream, yesterday, started with a RC, so I think It's all starting to come back to me.
