      to be brief,here's my story:

i've been having lucid dreams since age ten (i'm 20 now), and that was the time before i even knew what lucidity was. anyway, i've been trying to be lucid for a few weeks and i've been failing. i've tried everything and i failed. problem is that i remember my dreams, like last night, i was dreaming that i was in my bathroom and everything was ok,and seconds from that i was looking like a wolverine (i had a lot of facial hair lol). now when i think about it, it become obvious i was dreaming, but somehow i fail to realize it while dreaming. is there any method or tip to have dild's besides tutorials.

One word awareness. It is underestimated.
I have read recently two books on that subject. awareness of human nature your surroundings, and most of all consciousness. How does it arise. How does it perceive.
This will allow your mind to be more acute to surrealism while dreaming.
