Alright so a few years ago I was fascinated about the idea of lucid dreams and kept a dream journal and tried very hard to achieve them... since then I've made quite a bit of progress but without actually trying to achieve a lucid dream I probably end up starting to have one maybe once a month?

With that being said I just woke up and about an hour or two ago I started to have one... but when I start to have a LD.. The dream I just had for example I was passed out on a concrete floor and I was looking directly at it... I could focus on that one solid object very well and when I put my hands up against it to push away I could feel it and everything, however as soon as I take my eyes off that wall and look off at the distance or something to see what else is out there I immediately start to wake up and I can feel myself losing consciousness...

spinning has never actually worked for me only kept me in my dream for an extra few seconds, but like i've said i've never actually been able to fully roam around or anything its always sitting in some spot about to move when all of the sudden i wake up...

also its not that I panic, last night for example I sat there staring at the concrete feeling my hands up against it trying as hard as I could to take it slow... and I was able to back up from the concrete floor a little bit and see a little bit more but as soon as I took my eyes off that floor I woke up about 2-3 seconds later... any ideas for help?

hmmm thats a little weird. the only think i can really think of at the top of my head is to rub and blow on your hands. that always helps me when i am loosing focus like that.
