I had two timeline bugs today.

Woke up, turned on puter checked time, good nice and early still only 2pm, went downstairs, looked at the clock on the oven 2pm but a few minuts later duh, went back upstairs, dug out my alarm clock (still unpacking) looked at the computer and set the clock to the time 2:14pm
Went back to sleep (I work nights, I'm at work now) Had a dream about Australian aborigines, not lucid though, woke up sat in bed for a lil while thinking about the dream, figured it was one of those nap dreams, I get them alot becuae sleepign during the day is very broken for me...then I hear... Dude! wake up its 5:30...Huh?
I looked at my clock 2:53... WTF? WTF?

Here at work,

Got at battery for my pager, set it to the time on one of the terminals at werk, they are all linked and run on the same time...

Felt like a good measure of time went by, looked at the pager, 11:30 one of my team mates should be coming soon to releive me... 11:45 where is he?... 12am.. wtf? where is he?....

I looked at one of the terminals for the time... 2300.....WTF WTF WTF.

So I am seriously freaked now, having realised I just had two timeline reality checks, the whole put your hand through your other hand trick never worked for me even in dream, and lights work for me in dream too..

This is just starting to weird me out, I try to take now as reality wherever Now may be but seriously What in the hell is going on!?

And if any of you say You can be dreaming because I'm awake too I will pan you to death...

hehe, Dude, I would say, that the clock you looked at was in military time, There fore in military time, 23:00 is 11:00 and it was off an hour.

THATS THE FRIKIN POINT!!!

It was off an hour, whether you use the 24hour or AM/Pm they should correlate. My pager was saying 12am the terminal 2300 yes an hour off.
Im dumb but I do know how to set the time on my pager, hell I can even do VCR's

The point is I set the pager and then it gained an hour. and I dont have a clue as to what happeend with my alarm clock.

Im not having an episode or anything I am just weirded out =)

My earlier comment still stands though, I hate that "well you can be dreaming because Im not..."... You know how many people in my dreams Ive argued with over the same thing =P

You work at night, what im thinking is that your body's Sacadium Rythems (Spelling?) are messed up cuz' you sleep in the day and work at night when your body wants you to do it the other way. Hm, so basicly, your insane

And your mind is playing tricks on you because you are keeping it awake when it wants to go to sleep.

And yes working nights does mess with you, it actual gives you a higher risk of heart attack and a bunch of other health problems.

But I interacted with two separate time keeping devices, both of which apparently are also insane... *sigh* Even my ferrets are nuts... moreso than normal ferrets, one is the Root of all evil, hes the cutest of the bunch but dont let it fool you the moment you dont suspect it AGHAGHAGHGNASHCHOMP he bites you wherever you were least suspecting it, he even ran and jumped and hit my room mate in the nuts with his head! It was funny as hell but EVIL! the sight of a foot long tube rat take down a 190 pound human was hysterical.

There is only a limited number of logical explanations for your second observation:

(1) you did not set the time correctly
(2) at least one of the timers was malfunctioning
(3) you were hallucinating
(4) you experienced an episode of altered local time (which should happen only in a spacetime of highly curvature ... maybe a wormhole, but probably not at your work)

I don't know which of these explanations you like best ?!?

If it happened to me, I think it would REALLY scare me...

Actually.... we do have some interesting machines arounf here LOTS og high energy plasmas, hell there is one about 6 feet away from me right now. We have magnetics that you can FEEL when you aer about 8 feet away from them... well I can anyways... got warnings all over them if you have a pace maker stay the f*$% away we got particle accelerators.. all kinds of good stuff..

And the fact I bend space on occasion subconsiously could have something to do with it...

Believe it or not, when I was a teenager I similar experiences. I would wake up and see a different time on several different clocks and think that my alarm didn't go off. I would get up and shower and get ready for school, but my parents would hear me and ask me what the hell I was doing at 3 or 4 in the morning!!!! Still to this day, when I get up, I check the clocks all over the house to make sure it's the right time. I never did figure out why I would do that.

Some others may be:

1.This dreaming stuff threw your internal clock off a littli bit
2. and or you set your 2 time devieces by the wronge time.
3. Day light savings (LOL i would so laugh if thats the 1 that got you, it would seem the MOST LOGICAL)
4. *the unsound sound scientific explanation* Your slowy shifting between time realites and your brain is opening these pockets of time because your opening doors in your mind you arn't supposed to be exploring, and you will soon be caught in an everlasting limbo, till some smoe helps you escape from it 1 day, but by that time it will several hundred years in the future and every 1 you loved and knew is gone, and worst of all seeing how you have no past, thus meaning you will have no future. ummm RANT OFF
