Because whenever I do, my view 'becomes' the TV screen. Is this normal? This also happens when using the computer. |

very similar here. Tonight I saw a dream in which perspective constantly changed and I must say my mind posessed extremely rich cameraman talent... I saw best moments, regardless of where I was and what I faced... |
same here, last night i had one of a kung fu movie. at first i was watching a screen but i slowly became immersed into the action. -- the same night i was watching a documentary on gambling and became immersed into that as well. |

clear eyes. strong hands.
Oh yeah, This topic is really cool |
Mmm, very insteresting that that happens to other people too. This happens to me quite often, but sometimes my view just turns into whatever the TV screen is showing at the time, but do not get involved in it. |

I was going to say my dream I had about a week ago I was using the computer and it acted normal. I remeber surfing the web and I was talking to a friend who was with me. I remeber clearly seeing the computer many times and I was always sitting infront of it. However now that I think of it I am not sure if my view changed each time I looked at it, I think it may have. |

I think it is probably related to the light switch doesnt work phenonomon (how do you friggin' spell that!!!!) as in monitors and TVs are not natural, and our medieval unconscious can't work them out. |
I think its the "big screen" phenomenon. As in everyone wants the biggest screen they can affored/fit in there house to watch tv on. Size and money is not an issue in dreams so they give you full screen mode. |

I think your mind just jumps around a lot. Which is why you could be walking down the street then out of no where you off in some random place that has nothing remotely to do with the first place. |
Yeah, my thoughts exactly. When I'm captivated in a programme, he surrounding furniture around the TV fall out of mention, it's like I'm totally engrossed in the situation on the TV. And if my mind can do that when I'm awake, it's no wonder it flips about from place to place in dreams, where it's power is totally unbarred. |
I had this dream tonight. I was in it like any normal dream when out of no where, someone changed the channel and I was outside of the dream watching it on tv. And I was like "I was watching that", but he wouldn't change it back so I got up walked into the other room and turned it back on. I went right back into the dream I was in before. |
Nope, if I was lucid I don't think I would try and watch tv heh. My dreams are bad enough how it is, over half of them have tv people in them heh. |

Most of them have characters from different tv shows. Some follow the story of the show too but not all, and some kind of do but go off to other weird things. |
For your mind I dont think a TV Is a screen with moving dots that form an image, you'd have to think pretty complex in your dream for that, for your mind its an actual window to whatever happens I think... so somehow you become immersed with it. But when you watch an exciting movie, you can get totally immersed into it, right?? Perhaps its the same thing but amplified, since the dreamworld is unstable and when you're concentrating on something else it happens and the other things fade. |
I had another dream tonight with a tv. I was walking around and doing stuff around my house and at one point I went into a room and watched some tv. I jumped into the tv but then like a minute or two later I got bored with that channel so I jumped back and I was in the same dream I was when I started, and I went back to doing the same thing like nothing happened. |
