stupid me asking some questions about LD

I was wondering on some stuff about LD, and some of them are stupid, but I'm new to it I think so lol.

1) When i LD do i have to be concious? If thats a yes, when i start to LD do i fall asleep, but still know that i am dreaming?

2)When i start to LD, do i have my eyes open or closed? If opened, then how do i concentrate on just trying to LD?

3)What time of the day is it best to LD? I would think it would be at night, when I'm more at rest.

4)What excatly do I do? How do I get into the "dream phase", when I am concious?

5)Is LD against any religon or anything?

1. LDs occur (at least mine) when one realizes one is dreaming, and I do my dreaming while I'm asleep, since I have nothing else to be doing then.
2. I also have my eyes closed when I sleep, at least in my bed. Work and school is another thing.
3.LDing at whenever you're winding down.
4.When one is concious, one can take drugs.. but thats hallucinating, not dreaming in my book.
5. LDing itself is not against my religion, or any Christian religion (i think)... but it depends on what you're doing in the dream. Say, if you're getting freaky with some dream person, that might be considered an impure thought (as you are consenting), which is a minor sin. Its nothing you'll get stoned for if you're just flying around or meditating.
