      Music as a trigger

      Hey all...

I was wondering if any of you people have used music as a way to become lucid.
This is because last night i set my alarm as a song and when it went off, in my dream i could hear the song playing whilst i was in the dream and i thought "what the-wheres that music coming from" then i realised to my self "hey thats the alarm i set!!" then i woke up with the music going...

So if any of you kind people have had similar situations in your quest to becoming lucid or any advice i would love to hear it!

I was wondering how that could affect somebody who is in a dream, or transitioning. Not that I have yet, but...
I thought that when I was going through my iTunes playlist yesterday. For example, what if you play a song that is pretty morose? (My thought for that was "Hey You" by Pink Floyd- give it a listen, you'll get what I mean) Or something that's happier, The Who for example. Would that affect you while sleeping?

That could probably produce cool dreams if you played the music quietly enough (so you don't wake up). It could be like a reality check assisstant. Whenever you hear music you ask yourself "am I dreaming". Then do some regular reality checks to be sure. It could be a reminder to do RCs for those like me who have trouble remembering.
